The Roading Company Ltd. is a specialist roading and civil construction company operating throughout the Southland and Otago regions. The company was formed in 2003 and has completed major projects for the New Zealand Transport Agency (NZTA), Local Government, Department of Conservation (DOC) and Private Developers.

The safety of employees and the public is our number one priority. The company is registered with 'Operate Safe' to Stage 2 level and is certified as having met the tertiary level requirements of ACC Workplace Safety Management Practices.

Due to an expanding workload, the following positions are being added to our present staff:

Excavator Operator

This position, based in the Central Otago Area will suit an excavator operator with several years of experience, including large machine operation on public roads. STMS preferred. Applicants will have worked extensively on Council (and preferably NZTA) projects and will be familiar with Quality Assurance and Health and Safety procedures. Emphasis will be placed on producing work of the highest standard as is expected by our clients.
